Meet Our Team

Meet the wonderful ladies who keep it all together!

Joanna Snyder

Founder

Joanna Snyder started Singleness of Heart (SOH) ministry in November of 2015. She was raised in Charlevoix, MI, and graduated from Bible college with her elementary education degree in 2013. She spent eight months teaching in Papua New Guinea and made missions trips to 17 other countries in her singleness while she lived at home with her parents until 2019 when she married Paul Snyder. They serve on staff where he is the assistant pastor under her dad, Jim Green. Joanna is the Christian school teacher at SOH’s home church in Lansing, Michigan. As the founder of SOH, we greatly appreciate her love & influence on the ministry moving forward. Joanna is a great example of someone who did not "waste the wait."

Esther Green

Administrator

Esther Green was born and raised in beautiful Charlevoix, Michigan. She went to Providence Baptist College in Elgin, Illinois, for a bachelors degree in Church Secretary Science. She graduated in 2018 and became the church secretary at Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan, upon graduation. Joanna added her sister Esther as a co-admin in 2017. Then upon Joanna's marriage in 2019, Esther became the main event planner and administrator for SOH. She shares the same passion to serve the Lord and to not "waste the wait" by staying busy at her local church and hosting SOH events as the Lord allows.

Susie Legree

Moderator

Susie Legree was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She was reached by the Bus Ministry at age 3 and was saved at the age of 18 at a ski camp. She surrendered to go to Bible college instead of taking a full-ride scholarship to a secular university. While at Providence Baptist College in Elgin, Illinois, she met Esther Green and many other great friends. It is amazing to see the Lord’s leading in her life. She graduated and is now happily serving the Lord at her alma mater as the Kitchen Manager. Her soul goes into her food, and her heart is burdened to reach and inspire this generation of young ladies to serve the Lord.
