"I was a little hesitant at first because I thought the group was just going to be a bunch of YOUNG girls who knew nothing about the struggles of being single, but I could not have been more wrong. Over the years, I've gone on trips with this group and different gatherings, and I can't thank the Lord enough for the blessing it has been to me! The Lord has brought so many friends from near and far into my life through this ministry, and it has helped me feel not so alone in this journey we're in. It has also made me realize that maybe the Lord has this path for my life so I might be able to encourage others! I may be single, but my life is BLESSED!!!! Sure, sometimes the road is rough, but I AM NOT ALONE! I hope this group is a blessing to you as it has been to me!"

"Ever since I was added, I've been able to see that I'm not the only one out there that feels like it's taking forever to find the right guy God has for me. I've been encouraged by the ladies to wait for God's timing and to just stay faithful in serving Him. To enjoy life. Its also been encouraging to meet new friends and girls my age. The meetings and get togethers they have are great, and I encourage you to try to make it out to some (or all) of them. You won't believe how blessed you will be from it-- having a great Christian time with people that you never expect to meet in person. It has given me a lot of new friends, and I've been encouraged by them because now I have more friends I can count on to pray for me or for a need I have."

It has brought me many things. It's brought me comfort in knowing that I'm not the only one going through some things. It has brought me godly advice/counsel. It has brought me joy from all of the single memes and the laughs that we've shared... but most importantly, it's brought me true friends. True friends, who are always there to listen or pray. True friends that will help lift you up and show you that they care.

"At first, I was no more than a shy little fly on the wall, a mere observer of all that took place... but after some time, with a strong desire to MEET other young ladies "like me," I decided to take a leap of faith and go to one of SOH's first ladies retreats. At the time, I was an incredibly shy individual... but I needed ladies like me: single, 20's, serving the Lord... Although that moment in time was far outside of my comfort zone, the Lord blessed me with friends for a LIFETIME. He blessed me in broadening my horizon, and taking me places I never imagined I'd go! GOD has been so GOOD to me since involving me with SOH, and I cannot thank Him enough!"

"Singleness of Heart has been a HUGE blessing in my life since one of my friends added me a few years ago. I knew there were other girls out there struggling with some of the issues I do, but never did I think so many! The Lord has used this group to be a huge encouragement to me in my time of "waiting" and serving! Not only has it been an encouragement, but I've also met some of my closest friends through SOH! I'm so thankful that Joanna and Esther saw the need for this group and can't wait to see how the Lord continues to bless it!

"SOH has been a blessing in so many ways! Friendships have been created and maintained. Encouragement has been given. When I'm down, I know I can reach out, and there will be someone there to give a supporting hand, and later when I'm stronger I can reach out and support others as well.
Adventures are never ending. Some have been on U.S. soil, others have been overseas, but all of them have been amazing.The best part of SOH is it's always pointing me to Jesus."

"SOH reminds me how good God is to His girls. We are single and at a special place in our lives for His purpose. For many of us, we are the only single ladies in our church, and this group reminds us we are not alone in a season that many don't easily relate to. This group is meaningful in that we share and understand many similar experiences, that being blessings as well as struggles, in addition to God's grace for our struggles. Also... we LOVE our SOH administrators! We are grateful to Joanna, Esther, and Susie for how they give of themselves to make this ministry possible!"
